I believe that most of what, if anything, people know about
all of these creatures would be through storytelling and/or
religious services. I could see something with Hungry jack
being woven in blessing the pumpkin patch. Everyone around
the Upland Marsh has some knowledge of Delecti. The Hydra
is probably the least known, being stuck in some corner of
distant mountains.
There are a few beardy scholars that may know more, or
have access to more knowledge through spirits, etc., but
the average Sartarite only knows legend type of stuff.

Who among the Sartarites would know this? Seems anyone who even considers such issues much be chaotic, or at least a God Learner or something awful.

No Sartarite would check, even if it were possible to do so. They'd assume it's chaos and that if it's being used the Lunars are doing it, even if it seems to be destroying Lunar troops.

Of course, if you need to explain it to anyone you can say it was trampling around thru the populace but you've now tricked it into trampling thru the Lunars. Can't ally with a monster.
And who was that silly person who suggested we allied with it? Seems he's been missing awhile now. Hope nothing has happened to him.
