Yes, absolutely. If you refer to GRoY, pg. 42:

	"Kargzant was defeated, ridden by Lightfore.  Antirius, stronger
	and brighter than the old sun, rose."

That was in 111,111. Several hundred years later, in the time of the broken council, Antirius is still the sun.
