Martin: I loved your "Trollkin Features" table! A fine piece of research.

Sandy: I commiserate with you on your tragic casting as the Only Old One. We'll try to put you out of your misery as soon as possible. I am, for my sins, playing Khorzanelm the Magnificent, Emperor of Dara Happan and All Peloria. Supplication and profuse outpourings of tribute *may* be enough to save you, though only if you're a true human and not a skulking troll.

In case anyone feels patriotic, here's a couple of Dara Happan anthems I knocked off earlier. I hope to have a singalong at the Con, either to liven up the Broken Council or as part of MOB's Lunar Toons seminar (the Dara Happan units of the Heartlands still preserve their old traditions). My fellow Pelorians are warmly urged to join in, though we will of course accept our rightful recognition even from the most outlandish foreigners.

        IMPERIAL ANTHEM
	Land of Dara Happa
	Empire of the Sun
	How shall we extoll thee
	Who are ruled by One?
	Wider still and wider
	Shall thy bounds be set.
	Yelm, who made thee mighty
	Make thee mightier yet!

(Tune: "Land of Hope and Glory")

        DEIPOLIS
And did those feet in ancient time
	Walk on Peloria's mountains green?
And was the holy son of Yelm
	In Oslir's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the face of Murharzarm
Shine forth upon our crowded lands?
	And was Deipolis builded here
	Where Raibanth's mighty city stands?

Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
	I shall not cease from mental fight;
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
	Till we have built Deipolis
	In Dara Happa's pleasant land.

(Tune: "Jerusalem")

"Deipolis" is sung as four syllables: day-IH-poh-lis

Oh: I realise you may not know these popular English tunes in the States, in which case you're in for a treat! (And they say Trolls are musical...)
