I'm 30, a software engineer writing device drivers (UNIX, MS-DOS and so on) and firmware, and low-level OS architecture. I got my degree in Computer Science ten years ago now, so it's too outdated to bother with. I started role-playing about half a lifetime ago, discovered RQ around '82 or '83 and have been playing and GMing intermittently ever since. My prime character is a Yelmalion Rune Priestess (they're a little less strict where she comes from), but my own cult would probably be Eurmal...
My current campaign is split - one bunch of characters are in stasis in Elkoi (1/1621), waiting for another set in Prax (5/1620) to coincide at some future point. I use published material as background, but the scenaria are my own.
In my Copious Free Time [tm], I ride motorcycles, grow plants (my desk's known as the Green House), read SF, play several instruments to various levels of incompetence and give people a pretty weird time.
And I'm catching up with about 20 Digests...aarrgghh!
