Sandy I agree about Humakt not being too worried about getting new worshippers.
Why should Humakt get too worked up about worshippers:-
- Even if he had NO worshippers he would still be a major player. I mean
regardless of what people think about him he IS the dude with the BIG BLACK
SWORD! He is DEATH and nobody can change that without endangering the
entire world of Glorantha...
- He already has loads of DEAD (and therefor honourable) worshippers. Why
should he worry if only a few well motivated living people want to worship
him. Because he has relatively few worshippers he can pay more attention
to them:

Don't worry I WILL STOP you from becoming undead
BEHAVE I WILL BE WATCHING YOU!
Thus Humakti get loads of personal attention so they are very powerful BUT
they MUST toe the line. Just how far would you get trying to bend the rules
(just a bit) when you are dealing with the god of DEATH and TRUTH! By my
book those are both VERY absolute concepts. They are not something that you
might be able to get around like being turned into a newt!
