Pam Carlson wonders: Whom do Pelorian peasant women worship?

Back when Greg was first starting to write up the Lunar stuff, he explained to me that he first had to deal with the three Pelorian cultures from which it came: The Dara Happans, the Lodrilite peasants, and "the women's culture." The first has been covered in tGRAoY, tDHBoE, and tFS. The second has apparently been written up and parts have been read aloud at Convulsion '94 and RQ-Con 2. Of the third, I have not heard anything since. Be prepared for a major Gregging.

GroY and Fortunate Succession rarely mention them, being _slightly_    male-oriented.

Indeed. Though I had heard the Lodril stuff before at Convulsion, during the reading at RQ-Con 2, sitting by Mary Evelyn Medway, I got an incredible sense of very un-PC wrongness at the situation. The Lodril stories really strike me as Secret Guy Stuff, No Women Allowed. Fortunately, I started to feel better at the drum beating ceremony immediately following.
