"Decloaking complete sir"

Yes, I reappear after several months of hiding, having nearly caught up with the digests! Work and other things have chewed up far too much time of late, so first of all, my apologies to anyone who was expecting a PraxPak email around Christmas, it is still in gestation (bit like a dino, really, takes forever!)

On Dinosaurs and their uses, I recall a scenario in Elder Secrets in which you find a bunch of Dwarves lost in the world and one of them turns out to be a specialist in Dinosaur Control. Obviously, therefore, the dwarves do use them in some (Flintstonian?) way.
Ideas? Thoughts?

On Humakt, a couple of comments. Humakti are not generally found in large organised groups, but they are just the people you want to lead the first charge into a breach in the walls of a city, or to hold the gate, or lead the rearguard, etc. They don't care (if you see what I mean) if they die, they'll just take as many of the b$%&*_at_~#s with them before they go. So, Humakt regiments/military units are fairly rare (Unlike YT, where military units are the majority of this religions worshippers), but are notoriously tough (see that Morale spell? Wait till you get about 10 pts cast on the regiments by all their Swords!) One of the best sartarite units in DP is the Sword Brothers, a Praxian Secret Society mostly made up of Humakti. It is a seriously tough unit.

Also, on joining Humakt and other cults. Well, I think this is possible, but if you become initiated into Humakt, that will always be your primary cult
(since it guarantees that you will go off and join Humakt's Einherjar in the
afterlife, and Humakt himself will come and collect you). So, once initaited into Humakt, this is the only cult you can achieve Rune Level in (since normally achievement of such status means that you lose all your status in other cults, reverting to lay membership), although you could still become an acolyte in a "friendly" cult (eg Orlanth). It is a big commitment to join Humakt, but you get big rewards (as far as cult membership goes, it is much more generous with spells, training etc than most cults).

Incidentally, Yanafal Tarnils is a WIMP!!!! (And he cheats!) - Olastor Deathsword, ranking Sword in Pavis and Prax.

"Engage cloaking Device" (picture blurs out once more...)
