Sandy asks why 7 man files for the lunars:

The file provides physical defence for the monitor who provides magical defence for the file.

An arrangement like this would allow the monitor (M) to be protected on all sides bye the file (O) and and spells the monitor throws for the file needs only a minimal boost in range to effect all of them.

An 'arrow head' arrangement could be used for offense pushes.
