Nick Brooke:

I had written:

> My impression now is that Syranthir made the 3rd Eye into some sort of
> government supported position, ie making the supply of armour into a
> state function instead of every man having to provide his own.

To which Nick replies:

>Nah. What happened is that Syranthir's grandson, Surandar, went on a heroquest
>to visit the three-eyed smith-god Piku in his Mines at Kitor, and performed the
>tasks that gained him the first of the impenetrable brass-scaled coats....

*sigh*

*sigh*

*SIGH* Gregged again. Sometimes I feel I should paint a big (Blue) Bullseye on my forehead with the legend 'Greg Me Here!'. Considering that Alex feels hard done by by my last jibe (which wasn't intended to offend and I apologize for such), I probably let him have the first go.

Chris Francis:

>Does anyone know of a source, or have opinions about, the intriguingly titled
>but lamentably passed over Cannibal Cult in RoC.

Tales of the Reaching Moon #9 had a description of their Cult. Basically they feed people to the Hungry Ghosts (found in the Wastelands, Kralorela, Dorastor and Zamokil) to keep the spirits well fed so they won't take over the world. They also practice Cannibalism of their enemies to gain magical power in the form of increased stats.

Eric G. Scharf:

Had originally wrote

>> >Again, as far as I know, Humakt has never fathered a child.

and I replied with the Zunderism:

>> Arkat Humaktsson.

To which he uncovered my terrible secret and also scribed:

> This is akin to secret societies claiming deceased notables as
>ancestral members. I could call myself Humaktsson--it doesn't mean that
>the Big H slept with my mother.

But the Orlanthi *do* recognize Arkat as the son of Humakt (cf King of Sartar) and that's all the proof you'll ever need.
