How do sorcerers mix with theists in Glorantha?

According to box 8 book 3, characters from the Janube river cities roll for occupation on the RQ civilized table. This means that there are sorcerers in lunar Riverjoin and solar Southbank. Who are they? Are they Old Naws style solitary students of the occult, living on who knows what? (I suppose fees for training students and casting spells like skin of life or stat increases with long duration might enable a sorcerer to live comfortably). Or are they "wizards", that is priests, for a Malkioni minority?

Then there are those places that are Malkioni with worship of "pagan" gods thrown in. I am considering making Perfe (before being overrun by the Kingdom of War) one such place my campaign. What would the status of a priest of a pagan god be in such a place? How do they fit into the talker/ zapper/hurrah/drone system?

There was some talk on this list some time ago about sorcerous resurection. How about sorcerous stat repair? If it is impossible, Malkionism is manifestly inferior to other religions. Even the most devout Rokari wizard might seek out a CA (or Deezola?) priest(ess) after a bout of brain fever. "Yes my Lord inquisitor, of course I see now that I was wrong, but in the state I was in, I was unable to understand the ramifications of my actions."
