Very helpful. Though I wonder which of the many Gregs this one was. Not the chaos horror Greg nor the Troll Greg...At anyrate like all good answers it leads to even more questions. First of all just what definition of Heroquesting are we using here? I thought Greg was trying to get across the idea that everything is a heroquest, when an Orlanthi Windlord gives the ritual greetings to a Yelm Runelord that's a heroquest too. Of course that was probably a different Greg.

If Heroquesting is meant to mean deliberate exploration/use of the Otherworld in attempt to gain power I can see that most Malkioni don't Heroquest. I'm interested in the mention that the Loskalm Hrestoli are plundering the Hero Plane I remember reading other refernces on the Digest to their acting like God Learners. What's the deal? And where can I learn more about this?

I'm also pleased to hear that the Rokari view the Other world as some sort of Pagan abomination. The PCs in my game are all starting out as exiled Rokari and the more information on them the better.

My view exactly. I think the first "vampires" were/are Brithini with the Vows Don't work magic in Sunlight, Don't ingest any other food but Blood, Don't cross running water, etc. Since the Brithini seem to have a good working knowledge of the Heroplane these vows probably helped the Wizards who used them gain greater magics of the Void.

This is a great idea, consider it stolen. I think the idea of Dwarvin Arms Dealers makes a lot of sense. No doubt they are happily supplying both the Kingdom of War and the Loskalmi in the hopes the two sides will annhilate each other.

Is the Law rune opposed to the Chaos rune? I seem to recall reading something to the effecte that it is not thought of that way. I think the Chaos rune is opposed to ALL the other runes in equal measure.
