RuneQuest Con Down Under

A convention for RuneQuest and the world of Glorantha and the other great games produced by Chaosium: Pendragon, Call of Cthulhu, Elric, Nephilim, Credo, Dragon Pass

The third in the RQ Con series, after Baltimore (Jan '94) and San Francisco (Jan '95) shifts Down Under to Melbourne, Australia, January 19-21st 1996.

Gloranthan Sacred Time Ceremony (half ritual, half theatre, half freeform), Live Action Trollball and lots more!

We'll be bringing you a line-up of RuneQuest/Chaosium luminaries from across the globe (and just around the corner). Confirmed special guests include:

Greg Stafford - creator of Glorantha, author of RuneQuest and Pendragon, and founder of the world's coolest game company, Chaosium.

Sandy Petersen - the man who brought you Call of Cthulhu, numerous RQ publications and (more recently) Doom-laden software for your PC.

David Hall - editor and publisher of Tales of the Reaching Moon, the international RQ/Glorantha magazine.

Kevin Jacklin - the UK's freeform LARPing guru.

Nick Brooke - scourge of the Internet Glorantha Daily and inveterate Gloranthan scholar-at-large.

Mark Morrison - long-time Chaosium editor and author of Elric and Call of Cthulhu, and lately, interactive software scriptwriter.

David Dunham - author of Pendragon Pass, the alternative Pendragon rules for Glorantha

Richard Watts - editor of Chaosium's Elric line, poet and performer extraordinaire.

Cost: membership is just $40 for the whole weekend. An additional $10 for Home of the Bold participants. There are no other session or seminar fees. Membership is strictly limited to 150 places. Places are already filling up, including a gratifyingly large number of overseas players.

Venue: Bayswater Primary School, Bayswater, Bayswater, Victoria. (Bayswater is approximately 25 km east of the Melbourne CBD, and easily accessible by road, rail and bus.)
