Tim Ellis asked why there are Dara Happan nobles riding bisons and wearing imitations of Waha ceremonial gear. The answer is simple: After the battle of Argentium Thri'ile (aka the Silver Flame, fought in Darjiin) some of the Praxian mercenaries remained in Peloria and were settled as warlords in Kostaddi (and likely elsewhere outside of Dara Happa proper), to replace the beaten horse-riding warlords. Only the Sable People who took residence upon the barren Hungry Plateau managed to maintain their nomadic Praxian way of life to some extent
(part of them have become civilised as well, but are sent back to the
plain for a season a year, or so, not to lose touch with their roots).

The Bison riders were absorbed by the Pelorian nobility rather quickly - - while the Pelorian Praxians' representative at the Broken Council
(freeform) apparently still was aware of his origins etc, he appeared
as a Dara Happan provincial gouvernor. He was not yet a Yelm cultist, but a worshipper of Pole Star. Meanwhile these families are regarded as native Dara Happans and descendants of Yelm (i.e. initiates and priests), like e.g. Count (?) Leonidas of Darleep, of the Assiday family resident in Raibanth. (Their property may have been reassigned a couple of times during the EWF, Carmanian and Lunar upheavals in Dara Happa.)

I have no idea what happened to eventually remaining Impalas or High Llamas, and there seem to be no Morokanth in Peloria after Argentium Thri'ile. Weren't they Council allies, or why?

The Impala's may actually have been absorbed by the Sagittus subcult of the (then recently ReAscended) Yelm...
