Reality in Glorantha

My own problem with the tendency for many Gloranthaphiles to slip into a solipsistic view of the world: whatever anyone believes is true, is that there are REALITY tests when group A meets group B, and they disagree, forcibly. Someone wins. Yes, apparently it is possible to go back and try to change that result in Glorantha, as it is not in Earth. But to use an Earth example: Rome beat carthage, that's why we have a world with many Latinate languages and none descended from Carthage. I could claim that Hannibal won, but so what? Since the Glorantha "don't pin reality down" types are often rabidly anti-God Learner, can I ask them: "the God Learners LOST, right?" Or can I sAy that they won? And then that is my reality! :) Jim Chapin
