I remember them now!

One could argue the point the eating your children is avoiding fertility. After all, what's the point of having kids when you kill them immediately?

Yes, I suppose they could be aging reallllyy sloowly, or maybe even reallllllllllyyyyyyyyyyy slooooooooooowly <g>. It all depends on how you look at it. Maybe <taps fingers on keyboard, looking for a good way to phrase this...gives up> it's not possible to completely get away from the death/fertility aspects of life, so they do age slowly.

Upon further reflection I've come to the conclusion that they don't know about the fertility/death duality or how to manipulate it. It just happens to be this way.

I'd like to give an award to whoever wrote the bit in elder secrets about the mortar and pestle and all that frightful grinding and grinding... That has got to be one of the funniest things I've EVER read.
