Cheiron:

On the subject of angels, I had written that I felt that angels in Malkionism were former humans in Solace (after explaining who Yingar the messenger was) and that I didn't think they had angels as a seperate creation.

Cheiron pointed out that magic spirits and salamanders could be seen as angelic beings. I must confess this possibility slipped my mind. Although Arlatens Wheel (as described in SiP) appears to almost mechanistic, I believe Arlaten to be a member of a rationalistic subsect of the Rokari (They were called White Wizards in the Sog City Freeform, I think). I have no problem with the possibility that most otherworld spirits summoned by the Malkioni are decked with religious motifs. Perhaps a cherubum/salamander could appear as the Malkioni equivalent of PX?

but then Cheiron goes on to add:

>Whats more, certain sects of Malkionism recognize Archangels, beings of
>enormous power that the Invisible God created to aid him. They can be
>worshiped seperately from the IG, and give great aid to their
>followers. The Arrollian Church of Heortland recognizes the following
>archangels:

(*gasp* *splutter*) The Aeolians are not Malkioni! (*froth* *froth*)

They are damnable heretics! Report to the Comfy Chair at Once!

I do think that mainstream cults also have Archangels but these are not pagan gods but humans who are know in Solace Yingar would be the equivalent of Gabriel etc.
