Ok I'm probably hopelessly lacking in background knowledge as I'm still relying on RQII rules however:

What's the various prices could you expect to pay for different herd beasts in Prax? In RQII the only animal listed for sale was horses at around 100L. Would a bison actually cost the same as a zebra I think not?

Yeah I know there's going to be lots of considerations:

For one thing Praxians don't really care to trade in cash prefering raiding to gather beasts from the other tribes and as they come from a nomadic group would raise their own animals rather than buy them. But what about all these nomadic adventurers far away from family gonna have to see an Issaries trader in that case.

If they're gonna trade for animals I would have thought trade goods would be bartered, here's the crutch of the question you're gonna have to have a lot of goats to barter for a bison.

Any self respecting nomad is probably going to butcher an animal from another tribe for food rather than trade it back.

Seasonal variations and availability are going to vary costs.

I have a feeling rhinos cost around the same as a fully trained war horse (10000L?) and cattle either 10-40L? Herd men the same price as zebras, how do slaves fit into the picture (price wise) now that the lunar empire holds Moonbroth and actively buys slaves.

Any help out there?

Cheers

Chris G
