GOOD TIMES A HOAX

While I certainly appreciate the virus warning, Good Times is widely known as a hoax, not a threat. Here is a posting to IBM's internal network from December 1994:

 IBM's Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) has determined that the  widely rumored Good Times virus is a hoax. There is no need to spread  warning messages regarding this situation. Alan Fedeli, manager of  IBM CERT, has confirmed with IBM's T. J. Watson Research Lab and other  external emergency response affiliates that the virus is a hoax.

IBM verified again in October 1995 that the virus continues to be a hoax.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming ...
