A quick note on Nick Brooke's Full Metal Jacket reference: An orthodox
viewpoint probably included in KoW doctrine would be that soldiers suffer
together, die together, and survive together. It is not love of country,
respect or fear of superiors, or belief in the objective that makes
soldiers fight. It is only complete, subconscious identification with
the combat team. Soldiers fight because their buds are depending on
them, and nothing counts for more than that. . . . Tim /// "It is better
to wield two swords than one long sword when you are battling a mob all
by yourself; it is also advantageous when taking prisoners."--from The
Book of Five Rings (Earth Scroll), by Miyamoto Musashi, 1645 A.D.
