'Standard' orlanthi shouldn't be cremated. They should first be exposed to the spirits of the air and the Testers of Purity (carrion birds like ravens that eat away the dead person's mortal coils) until nothing remains of the body except the bones. Then the bones are inhumed in a mound, except for a few bones which are used to make an ancestor fetish or two.
Priests/esses and Lords usually get a burial as dictated by the cult. Sun Carls are cremated. Horned Hunters are laid down in the woods. Storm Voices are taken away by sylphs. Earth Mothers are buried. Swords are consumed by ravens. Or something.
