KoW RL Equivalent from Steve Lieb on 1995-11-21 (Glorantha Digest Vol 02)

In my campaign, i have consistently used RL source descriptions of the Huns as my material for the KoW. Note, I use as contemporary descriptions as are available (I got my hands on some history volumes witha goodly amount of transcribed church texts) - note even in Guizot's History of France, the drawing of the Huns is positively demonesque.

Of course, in our enlightened age, we all KNOW the huns had mommies, and neuroses, and body odor, and were feeling thinking humans like the rest of us, right? Well, Freud hasn't shown up in Glorantha yet (major heroquest?) and the Godlearners were the only proponents of Cultural Relativism.

I mean, if you aren't as positive as I am that our way of life is the best, and that our ancestors had it right, well, you're practically like those crazy heretical . . . hey, you ARE one. GET HIM! Steve Lieb
