Please note that the exploding Ulerian were-hobbit appears, at first glance, a harmless hobbit, perhaps offering to shine one's boots. However, some nasty hobbits have sacrificed everything to the worship of Uleria, and have been granted the gift (?) of Ulerian Frenzy. By the sacrifice of a permanent POW, they can churn themselves into a rage (cf. also a far-too-extended discussion on berserking, RQ-Rules list) 1/season. In this rage, they seek to overwhelm and, ahem, conquer their victims. The POW +10 is only for the purposes of resisting spells. The transformation to exploding Ulerian were-hobbit takes only 1SR, after which the victim is knocked to the ground. Leaping atop the prone victim, the exploding Ulerian were-hobbit proceeds to 'work ritual' upon him or her. At the end of the ritual (1d6 rounds later) the exploding Ulerian were-hobbit bursts in a cackle of glee, causing 1d6 damage to all within 2m of the blast site, and rendering the victim "useless" for any 'ritual' for 2d12 months. The exploding Ulerian were-hobbit is magically reconsituted at teh next High Holy Day, in the arms of the head priest or priestess.
