Ok, rephrasing time.

The northern fringes of Winterwood would be like the next paragraph. The densest regions of northern Winterwood would be like the region Erik lives in, and which I know quite well, too. Most of the northern Winterwood would be sufficiently open for reindeer to run through, IMO. Dunno about Santa's sleigh, though...
