Hasni Mubarak:

>Dormal: Do worshipers of Saint Dormal get DI?

It depends. If you worship Dormal in Esrolian or Pamaltelean (ie stanadrd writeup) then you do get the standard DI. If you were a sailor of Nolos or Loskalm, then you wouldn't worship Dormal, but your ship sorcerer may have St Dormal as a Patron Saint. In such a case, he would need to expend only one point of POW and know what the weather is like for the next 24 hours (which is a Saintly Intervention rather than a Divine intervention).

>Other Saints: Do other saints give DI?

In the regions of Ralios, many Saints have fully developed cults that are more like Dormal's in GoG. Such quasi-theistic cults would give the standard DI. In more orthodox places, the saints would give the Saintly intervention as described in Tales #13.

>Farmers: Farmers don't get intenstity, so what sorecery spells can they
>use that is not completly worthless? Smother 1 is the only one I can
>come up with. Any one else?

Rokari farmers do get intensity but Hrestoli farmers are plain screwed. Glow, Treat Wounds and Damage boost are spells they are likely to learn (+1 damage is nothing to sneer at when casting it on an axe to chop wood for instance). It would be a rare hrestoli (or even Rokari) farmer who learned smother. They leave the fighting to the Knights and high magic to the Wizards.

>WAR: What countries are currently at war. "What my Pop told me" Imples
>that Shesnella is at war with "the east" meaning all the crazy
>barbarainas. ARe they really at war with Esrolia? How much contact do
>they get with the barbarians, any how?

[confining the discussion to Seshnela]

Depends what you mean by currently. 1621? 1625? Seshnela is not at war with Esrolia. High tensions exists between the Seshnegi and the various states of Safelster (who are the 'barbarians' referred to by Pop). This breaks out into open warfare every now and then and the last war was the conquest of Dangim March by the Seshnegi in 1620 ST.

Right now, the Seshnegi merely engage in raids to try and weaken their foes before the next war erupts. The prime targets of this tactic are Nolos and the states of Safelster. After they have succumbed, the next targets would probably be Arolanit and the Castle Coast. Then if the King is feeling masochistic, he could always take on the Luatha...

>Sorcery: If an Elf learned Sorcery in the west, would he technically be
>a worshiper of the Invisible God? Or is all that stuff about sorcery
>spells being "prayers" to be ignored...? (Is ALL sorcery phrased as
>prayers?)

Technically Elves beyond the station of Children of the Forest cannot learn sorcery unless they're illuminated. Younger ones could (but they'll have to forget it when they grow older if they want to progess in Aldrya worship). Knowing a simple sorcery spell does not qualify you as a Malkioni, you have to believe that there is only One God, the Invisible God &etc. If you are a believing Malkioni, then your sorcery spells are Prayers. If OTOH you are an atheistic scumbag (aka Brithini, Vadeli) or just happened to pick up a sorcery spell, then what you know is Sorcery (*hiss* spit).
