A Smuggler cult

Mike Cules reply presupposes that a Smuggler cult would be a secondary cult to Dormal. Surely smugglers could have existed before the Closing and then gone into decline during it? It may have continued to exist along large rivers, coasts and in areas such as the Eastern Isles where sailors are always in sight of land. In any case the rapid expansion of Dormal in only 40 years shows how quickly a cult can be established, never mind revived.

Incidentally Henk Langeveld has now sent me a copy of the lost Arin the Smuggler cult by Steve Maurer. Would people like me to publish it here? Its about five sides of A4. Alternatively it is available on request from me.

Basically Arin dates from the Dawn Age and was a servant of Issaries.(Mike was not far out here) However the two are now so opposed that Issaries members cannot join the cult. His runes are Trade, Illusion, Mobility and Disorder. The skills are similar to the ones I proposed with additions such as Conceal Door, Launder item, Speed, Trade Curse/Blessing etc. The cult of reprisal is Selfless Charity. The allied spirit is a Magpie from the Three Feathered Rivals.
