        Kevin is right, but of course a number of the Praxian are effectively hunter/raiders/gatherers. However, all but the most primitive still have much of the mindset of the herdsman, because they devolved from this state.

	The rhino-riders, for instance, do not primarily live off  
their slow-breeding rhinos. Nor do the morocanth commonly eat their  
herd men -- at least, not to the degree that other Praxians eat  

_their_ beasts. But both retain the callous attitude towards death and killing common of most nomad herdsmen.
