>>... "The Chalana Arroy priestess ... "in the end my mistress's will is=
=20

greater than that of your severed master. She will overcome." <<

A very enjoyable tale.

Peter Metcalfe

I think I=D5m content to disagree with Peter on the cult of Malia.

But on the ability of the cult of CA..... :)

Me >Of the following I'm sure. If asked, the CA healers could provide a=20 result at least as efficacious as proprietaty worship. However, it probably=
=20

wouldn't be as cost effective. <

>>But they *can't* according to the roolz. Surely they should be able to=
=20

do so if they could. Rather a suspicious oversight don't you think?<<

Having again reread the CA writeup there is actually nothing to forbid=20 it.=20

The description of Treat Disease only covers a situation _after_ a person=
=20

or thingy has caught a disease. Likewise Treat Poison is used after a perso= n or=20
thingy has been poisoned. Those are the most common situations which will  arise in gameplay and so are catered for by the rules.

As in the RW, herbal remedies have been used for centuries as preventatives=
=20

for ailments, so it is in my Glorantha. The cost, duration and effectivenes= s=20
of said protection, well those are rules.=20
