About the horali
The death they fear is their final death. Usually
if they have an accidental death, a zzaburi can
heal or restore the link between the body and the
soul. Because of this possibility, their training
is as harsh as possible.
The only final death is death by aging or in their
caste if their body stays on the battlefield.
A brithini army has two objectives, to win the battle
and to bring back the bodies for resurection.
About the iron dwarves
They are more innovative than the horali, but if they
die it is the end. It is possible too that the typical
iron dwarf is not very flexible, if he was
trained/programmed as a swordman he may not be able
to use a musket at all.
So if the dwarves find a new weapon, they have to build
new iron dwarves to use it.
On the battlefield both armies are terrifying. They
have very tough soldiers who can faultlessly use the
tactics they were drilled with.
Horali and iron dwarves do not fear death like the
other races. A dwarf think of himself as a machine,
a horali has a life insurance <g>.
BUT, they have some problems of their own.
For the dwarves, they must have the minimum casualties
because each iron dwarf killed is forever lost.
For the brithini, they must bring back the bodies of
all their killed horali or it is death by aging for
the commander.
For these reason, brithini and dwarves try very hard
not to fight battles they are not certain to win, and
avoid like the plague guerilla warfare.
An astute foe can use these problems to his advantages,
plus the fact that since the dawn both the brithini tactics
and the dwarf tactical limitations are known.
