If the presence of a major user of the death rune would have the effects
described in recent posts, how about some imagination concerning the
effects of other runes? I'd be interested in suggestions for role-playing
purposes.
Maybe the emotional effects might be like the scene in C.S. Lewis' That
Hideous Strength when the oyarsa of the inner planets are descending onto
Earth to enter Merlin? The group downstairs, in effect, become by turns
mercurial, venerian, martial, saturnine and jovial.
