multiple Arkats

Didn't somebody post that Greg said, "Arkat and Argrath are the same person" at RQDU? If so, I propose the following solution to the multiple Arkat situation.

Arkat retired to Ralios after the death of Gbaji. While there, he quested to insure that his loyal comrades (now dead), would join him on the HeroPlane when he 'retired'.

In the Second Age, the GLs destroyed the HeroQuest pathways leading to Arkat's Star, as they were afraid of him. Because of his relative isolation, he was essentially unaffected by the change in the world that accompanied the fall of the GLs.

Arkat noticed that the world had changed, and began working on a means of reconnecting to the rest of the HeroPlane. After the rise of the Lunar Empire (w/Nysalor), Arkat speeded up his efforts.

He succeeded by boosting/betraying his old boon companions. He gave to each, certain parts of his powers & knowledge. He then installed one each as the focus of the various Arkat hero cults! One became Arkat Humaktsson, one became Arkat Kingtroll, etc. He gained/traded/whatever a part of each companion's remaining 'free will' as part of the process.

Thus, a much diminished Arkat (now 'only' a Hero) regained the Will necessary to leave the HeroPlane and return to Dragon Pass & fight the Lunars. He immeadiately began atracting a new bunch of companions, including Garath Sharpsword, and the two other 'Argraths' that claimed descent from Sartar via two different lines (KoS).

Because Arkat was fighting a smaller, weaker empire this time around, and because Dorastor is still a sink hole of Chaos (even after 1500 years!), Arkat tried to use different means to subdue his old enemy. Thus he turned to Draconic knowledge & powers. First, he had an old EWF relic around to learn from/squeeze dry (Delecti). Second, he probably was in possession of some Draconic knowledge from his first trip through Dragon Pass (he was isolated on the HeroPlane when the Inhuman King took back Draconic knowledge).

As time passes, he pushes the Lunars out of Dragon Pass, becomes the King of DP, and eventually becomes a 'superhero' again (gasp!). The end result is the Red Moon being pulled out of the Sky. No more Lunars, no more Riddlers. "All of that will have to go."
