Sorry, but Rurik (who I believe was indeed a character from one of the early Chaosium house games) went on to become a Rune Lord of Yelmalio and was killed in the Rubble when mobbed by Trolls. According to the story I heard Greg tell he was run through the back by a spear in the hands of a trollkin, got DI and was then again punctured, finally and fatally by the same lucky trollkin.

His stats were published in one of the old Wyrms Footnotes.
