Maybe the whole episode of the loss of writing occured when one of Sandy's EVIL Morokanth hero used Fix Int on "Mother Language" so he could get a handy meal on the god plane! ;-)

BTW has anybody read the books in the series "My first two thousand year: the autobiography of the wandering Jew". The series offers a great insight into an alternative interpretation of Christendom, Christ, Life and Magic. I found the books a great inspiration for RPG scenarios in magic rich environments, and probably good materials to steal from to lead PCc to illumination, immortality, and general herodom.
