Bad luck - while Annila is one of my favourites too, I don't think there is much hope for her return, at least if you buy into Dara Happan moon myth at all - or if you believe the Red Goddess, she already has returned to power in her new improved red form.

The basic moon story (according to modern moonies) is that the moon was white, then red, then blue, then blue again, now red, and eventually will be white again (there is a bit more to it than that, but thats the celestial incarnations). Annila is (or was) the Red Goddess. If the blue moon cult believes anything like this, then they are almost certainly working towards bringing the white moon back (the red moon is just a necessary stage).

>May be I should make the blues Harshax. ;-)

The blues are definately one of the leading candidates in any gloranthan conspiracy theory. They know far too much, and they certainly are not telling anything. And the various Lunar heroquesters do seem to be among the most accomplished and cleverest, so who knows what they are up to.

PS gratuitous cool Lunar theory - OK, in KOS Harrek kills Jar-Eel. But as an accomplished Lunar heroquester, its pretty damn likely that she wanted him too, because she knew she could return even more magically dangerous. By this stage, its a classic lunar heroquest manouver, as used by the Takenegi, and many times by the goddess herself.

Orlanthi sympathisers may want to take Harreks removal of her heart as proof that he not only killed her, but stopped her returning. Jar-Eel sympathisers may want to take Jar-Eels mention in Argraths Sage pages after her apparent death as proof that she does come back.

        Cheers
