I've been doing some thinking on your question Tim and after reading the first few pages of Uz Lore in Trollpak, I think I've come up with an idea. Perhaps a troll hero should go on a quest equivalent to the LBQ (it would be called something different of course) and quest to bring back Korasting, Mother of Many who was the Troll's fertility goddess. She was stricken by Yelm and had to stay behind in the land of the dead when the other trolls escaped his light. See the section of Uz Lore in Trollpak called "The Great Enemy".
