I think the Troll Gods writeup is, not surprisingly, more based on the Blue Moon Plateau trolls religion mostly in the game details, but note the particularly outrageous associated cults - Jakaleel and Artmal, two cults that have not even heard of each other, said to be associated to the same cult. The historical details mention three different cultures (blue moon trolls, Artmali, and the loper people). And then I think the myths given are a combination mostly of possibly Giant Myth, and other myths from who knows where - a sort of Pelorian meets troll meets God Learnered beyond recognition.

I suspect the human Blue Moon worshippers of Mernita were partly the last gasp of the Blue People, refugees from the seemingly endless series of blue butt kicking heroes of Pelanda (Bisos, Daxdarius, Urvairainus, and more), and partly an attempt by the womens religions of Pelanda to reject the patriarchy and fight back in terms they understand. So I think the Blue People is implicit in the modern Blue Moon cult - but minimal. Its more to do with Pelandan womens religion, and that influence is kind of buried under layers of other stuff now (but may have been more explicit at the time).

        Cheers
