On the Curse of Kin Thread:

Just for curiousity's sake: did any Trolls continue to stand behind Gbaji after the Uz representitives broke from the council? (Not that any self-respecting troll would, but...) Not any sizeable number, but did any faction, tribe, temple, etc. maintain allegiance? Considering some of the inter-Uz politics at the time, I wouldn't be surprised if a few trolls made "comprimises" (i.e.: if trolls can domesticate cave trolls, despite their chaotic natures, or side with the Red Moon despite the Bat flying by, why can't they rationalize Nysalor? "Well, he's not _completely_ chaos...")

Further: would/did Gbaji create an _alternative_ myth regarding Korasting for loyalists? If any trolls did stick around, it would probably be necessary to leave in a loophole for them. ("Hey, thanks for sticking with Me and the Council. Sorry, but your children will be retched, stunted little mutants. But thanks.") By providing the Loyalists with the alternative myth, Nysalor enjoys continued support: ultimately, in terms of long-range plans, he could always try to undermine Uzdom by offering the same myth, but was stymied by Arkat before he could make the offer. ("Hey! Suffer from the Curse of Kin? Black Eater got you down? Then try new Nysalorasting, the !NEW! fertility goddess of the trolls! Enlo free, guaranteed!")

This is all conjecture, but I would be interested if there are remnants of a Loyalist Uz faction which _do not_ suffer from the Curse of Kin. Presuming any survive the Massive Uz Retribution, natch. And the Dark Empire. And the purges. And the cult of Arkat Kingtroll. Um.
