>There is no need for her to become the White Moon and she doesn't according
to KoS.

Where in Arkat's name does it say she doesn't ascend to become the White Moon? According to the Zin Letters there is a wonderful astrological object that fits the description. Or are you referring to Argrath's Saga?

To paraphase "Perhaps chaos merely means, That Which We Do Not Understand.."  Draconis Stella, obviously something no sane human could understand, may be grouped as a chaos creature at some point. As might the Red Moon. And, if you believe that Tyram was a GL construct, then consequently the Book Of Drastic Resolutions is correct, Tyram, Sedenya and the Dragon are are chaotic in nature and all invaded the Sky. Whether it's a valid conclusion or not, is another story.
But then this has nothing to do with the moon. A bit like your reply. Obviously you *accidently* forgot to reply to the rest of my last post which gave a perfectly reasonable theory as to the why and wherefores of the Blue/Red Moon story. I'm sure you'll make up for it.  BTW, the shirt which buckles backwards -- obviously a Nyslorian Riddle.

Mark Smylie:

[talks about the Red Moon being of the Air when she was originally of the Sky]

This has a weird sort of logic. Maybe each of the moons relate to a different element. The Blue is Water (but maybe Darkness), the White is Sky, the Red is Air, the Black is Darkness (and a bit of chaos) and all moons are composed of Earth stuff. A quirky theory indeed, but worth considering.

>Actually, assuming that the 'original' White Moon (Sedenya?) also went

>and the Red Moon were both _also_ the Black Moon,

Firstly, I don't think the White Moon had phases -- but I might be wrong (don't have the source on that one either, awaiting my last order from RMM). I think only the Red Moon undergoes phases, whereas the others (blue and white) didn't because only the Red Moon was truly illuminated and had fought her inner demons and was capable of utilizing it's powers.

Scarily, this seems to make just as much sense now I think about it. There probabley are Black Moon magicians, and when the fall of the Shadowmoon empire came the magicians were forced to revert to this almost unused branch of magic as a last resort to defeat the Orlanthi.

I thought the haggis would've been the Hungry Eater?
