Commenting on the universal importance of Saird:

Horses don't come from Saird IMO. Although Plentonius blames the horse riders on Saird, there were horse riders in Rinliddi (probably the Kuranits Tribe IMO) before the Sairdites apparently discovered horses, according to the Entekosiad. Gartemirus who helped Emperor Manarlavus to the throne by fighting against the Evil Bird People was surprised to see the help from the Northeast were Horse Riders as he'd never seen a horse before (Prior to this, the help from the Northeast were demibird riders). IMO the Horse Riders were given Saird as a land grant despite the disgust of Alkoth.
