A crazy idea!

        The idea of having a basic Glorantha Info-Pak is an excellent one. Glorantha seems to have a widespread reputation as an impossibly complicated world among gamers who've heard of it at all. Much as I hate to say it, this Digest probably wouldn't alleviate that reputation for newcomers to the game. :-)

        Why not go a little further, though? In addition to basic world-info, a bank of other useful material would encourage people to play RQ. The first thing that leaps to my mind is the old RQ2 _Foes_.

        That was a great book (do I have the title right?). Nothing but computer-generated stats for hundreds and hundreds of NPCs, almost any sort imaginable. I for one found it hugely helpful, and even used it with RQ3.

        I particularly liked the hamster with the special "very cuddly" attack. :-)

        I don't suppose that AH or anyone else is likely to ever re-issue the book. Is there any reason not to make the material available by mail, or even on the net?

-->Pete
