RE: Copy of: Conflict of creation.
In reference to Mr Nick Brooks write up of Convulsion 3D, I would like it if he
got his facts correct, the truth is as follows.
- Dragon Pass the Freeform, was my baby. Brought violently into the world on
Saturday night. Mr Gidlow took my position as coordinator when the ale finally
hit me.
I must say that the game we played lacked coordination, but I will strive to
establish some basic guidelines, play test it, then I will take over the world.
- Rune Metal Jacket is also now a freeform, or is tha freeforall? This great
unofficial event took place, when I could not find my players for the official
tournament. The event was a delight to behold, with Dan Barker's starring role
as Dogsh_at_t the rudest broo in Glorantha. Lawrence Whittaker and David Gadbois
invented the human ballista which was superb to watch, but hurt like hell when
they hit you with a burley
dutch man (sorry name aludes me).
- Nick also neglected to mention the trollball that featured a horribly
deformed two headed cave troll, and the cutest Xiola Umbar priestess. (Does
anybody know how to remove flour and water paste from limited edition T-shirts.)
- Will someone please tell me what the end result of HotB was. I was at the
time involved in a tragic love scene, quite an achievement for the Crimelord of
Boldhome.
- Finally it is worth while going to these conventions just to watch Sandy
Peterson, do his HEAD-ZIT squeezing. A gamr that is now (tm) Chaosium, and will
be released on the PC just as soon as Quake has made a huge amount of money.
