The above stuff to Joerg was more a pat on the back, as I was on his team. I am probably nearly as sad as I knew the names of the rule books in Worlds of Wonder and almost the name of Ken Rolstons Superworld scenario, Bad News for us. As for Peter he deserves everything he gets.

Hmm I think you will find that at least one of your examples occurred a
number of months ago and since then I have had an almost civilised
disscusion, with the contributer in question, about the Lunar Occupation.
The 'wanker' incident occurred when the contributer's
(caustic\constructive) sarcasm seemed to bring his RW political views onto
the digest. I illustrated my objection with a statement I overheard at
Convulsion I. As far as I remember I appoligised by private email and if I
did not, I do so publicly now.
As for the "Your fucked" statment I was indeed rather pissed and at the
time and half the Province was burning down around me. I think I was in a
rather negative frame of mind at the time. As far as I remember the poster
was asking about RQ and not just Glorantha. If he is intrested in seeing a
well supported RQ he is in trouble.
As someone who has lived and breathed RQ since first edition its hard to see its final death. At Gregs address, he put the final nail in RQ's coffin. I am not going to say here how this is going to come about, but if anyone who was not at Convulsion is interested email me. I like characters parrying and its going to be a hell of a culture shock to switch a system that may not even have characteristics. Yes I still play around a table and see Glorantha as a game world. It people such as myself and others lurking on this list that kept the spark alive, by buying crap such as Monster Colesium, until David Hall started Tales'.
What is the chances of finding new people such as the poster. When at the minute the only two ways to get into Glorantha and RQ is to have email and stumble across the digests or find a copy of Tales buried in a game store. Your probably saying why the hell does he not do something about it. How can anyone do anything when there is nothing concrete to fall back on. My god there will probably be a thread about which end of a worm is female. There needs to be some sort of offical word, from somone who has their feet somewhere near the ground.
Since I started playing RQ\Glorantha I have always promoted it, and always will. Its is good to be at conventions like Convulsion and meet people who's GM, created their first character in my campaign. Its even better when they come from a different part of the country. Or when another player starts his own group and has his Epic Poetry posted to the digest.
I will end this rant by saying that I will promote RQ\Glorantha by scanning stuff for people or providing sources that I have, without a glossy cover, and probably not spell checked. Just like this.
