Nils asked about my Wendarian (Neolithic Pelorian) primitive magic:

> Did they have something like divine magic too?

While the Wendarians (in my game) revered deities, they didn't have anything like divine magic. One of the rituals was Invoke <Deity>, which was pretty vague. But a popular deity to invoke was Vogestes the Spearman. Since you wanted your spear to be bloody in battle, the ritual involved cutting your palm and letting the blood drop onto your own "spear tip" (no women warriors in this culture!).

I think divine magic was developed later, probably after the Pelorian cultures started having more contact. Once people noticed that (Pelandan) Turos and (Dara Happan) Lodril could be worshipped with the same rites, it would be easier to streamline the rites to just the common elements, eventually resulting in the current style of divine magic.

Roderick Robertson's song includes the lyric

> Phartgentes' Army

I'll note that in our long-ago campaign, the Sartarites always pronounced said king's city "Bagsnot." And had we known his name (back in the 1980s), we would have butchered it as per the song.

No, because they reproduce by rape they have an affinity with broos. (As I recall you mentioned that they had to rape to reproduce. If it was unconnected with reproduction, then they wouldn't be red broos.)

Joerg suggested Blue Vadeli use necrophilia. Perhaps that's how they reproduce?
