Is their trade carried on Vadeli ships?
Would a Vadeli merchant travel on a non-Vadeli ship?
Would they use Vadeli or non-Vadeli bodyguards? (Depending on public
perception/knowledge of their
actvities presumably 'honourable' bodyguards would have problems working
for them)
What skills & spells do they have? (Are they satanic Issaries?)
What gods do they worship?
Who are their leaders?
Do they live in ghettos near the docks? Is their lifestyle luxurious or squalid?
Are they 'protected' by the local rulers because they make loans to their treasury?
Are they sometimes subject to pogroms? (Perhaps like the one in medieval York at Cliffords Tower. Sometimes these massacres were orchestrated by rulers/local merchants as a convenient method of debt reduction. No doubt rioters also managed to help themselves to some of their goods as well)
Sorry to ask so many questions but I think they are important for the
Vadeli to be included in any campaign.
Particularly as several thousand of them live in the Southern Continent.
