Most likely because they failed so far to surface in published adventures (except for Ludoch, which go as "the mermen" anyway). Elder Races Book has next to nothing on Ludoch culture and daily life, and nothing at all about any of the other races. Tales 10 (the Sea Special) had only a very general "What the Merpriest says".

Personally, I'd like to learn more about the Ludoch of the Holy Country. I know that they make up about 50% of the population of Seapolis, and about 100% of the city of Deepest (below Troll Strait).

Does anybody have information on Seapolis other than the following:

I use the (German translation of) Tulan of the Isles (of Midkemia Press, one time also published by Chaosium) for the layout of the human part of the city, mainly because I already use City of Carse for Karse and couldn't place Tulan anywhere else in the Holy Country (short of God Forgot). It lacks some facilities for humans and mermen to meet, though.

>This was very tragic because it means that
>my mermen labors proved of use only to guys like Joerg.

Whaddaya mean, guys like me?

Still, I have the suspicion that a lot of the work done on the mermen never was published, but saved up to be released along with the Isles stuff. True?
