Who cares whether the Vadeli think they're evil?
R U ever going to play a Vadeli PC, outside of a LARP? In a LARP it
doesn't much matter since a big part of the fun of playing a Vadeli
would lie in the other players not knowing whether you are knowingly
evil, just amoral, or simply have a very strange strategy for
survival.
More useful, IMO, are rumors about Vadeli...
MORE VADELI RUMORS
- Blue vadeli are walking dead sorcerors who vampirize their
descendants.
- Red vadeli must bathe in warm, fresh blood once a season or begin
to age. And sponge-baths don't count. Full-immersion only.
- Red vadeli must eat only sapient flesh and drink only the blood
from sapient beings.
- Brown vadeli must dine on sapient fecal matter daily or begin to
age.
- Blue vadeli may not have sexual intercourse with living beings,
on penalty of immediate and full aging with the inability to cast
immortality spells.
- Blue vadeli reproduce by having sexual intercourse with a corpse,
after which the corpse stops degenerating, then over the course of a
year awakens to its "life" as a new blue vadeli. After reproducing
this way the parent vadeli begins to age, and must use immortality
spells to stave off further aging.
- Blue vadeli are vampires and vivamort was one of them.
- Brown vadeli are born from the small colon, not from a womb.
- Male red vadeli practice subincision. Female red vadeli are in
estrus at the same time that they have their menstruum, which has an
astoundingly heavy flow.

sorcery.
- Vadeli immortality spells require the sacrifice of a descendant.
- Blue vadeli are symbiotic with a lichen which turns their skin
blue, deadens their sense of touch, and sterilizes them. In return it
amplifies their magical power, doubling or even tripling it (raise
POW by 2D6+6). They typically do not innoculate themselves with the
lichen until they have had enough children to fuel their later
immortality spells.
- Red vadeli are made of hardened blood, and they need constant
infusions of blood to survive and reproduce.
- Blue vadeli thrive in freezing temperatures.
- Blue vadeli are made of hardened tears, and they have learned to
become invisible so they can wander the world, harvesting sorrow.
- Blue vadeli have been trapped in the blue moon.
- Blue vadeli are immortal, invulnerable, and it's a good thing

- Brown vadeli travel the seas in boats, for they may not pilot
ships. What is the difference? Ships have boats on-board. Boats do
not.
- All vadeli are evil. They cause pain and sorrow just for kicks.
- All vadeli are victims too. They need to do terrible things to
survive, and it hurts them deeply inside.
