To summarize Martin's point, the Hollywood versions of those deities would be...

Gagarth: Bonnie and Clyde, Machine Gun Kelly, Billy the Kid, the James Gang

Urain: The Chainsaw Guy, The Biker of the Apocolypse, the Big Baddie in Highlander I.

Saravan asks: How would a Lightbringer Quest Ritual and/or an I
> Fought We Won Ritual appear to/be experienced by Orlanthi worshippers
> participating in the Sacred Time ceremonies to renew the world.

The way we run it in Seattle, the Heroplane comes to the PC's.

Frex: The folk of Ormsthane Vale conduct Orlanth's defeat of the Emperor and the Rescue of Ernalda.

Varmand the chief (the only rune-anything in the valley!), takes the role of Orlanth. The most likely guy in the tribe plays the emperor - the guy with the a horse, armor, and the most fire spells, probably. The women take the role of prisoners at the court of the emperor. During the ritual, as the usual words are spoken, people begin to change. The emperor no longer looks like Killer Korol. Indeed, during the ritual, Varmand/Orlanth runs his sword clean through Korol/Emperor, killing him. But when it's over, Korol gets up with no wound!

The other tribe members shout encouragement or derision, kind of like at a basball game.

That's how a small clan does it. In Ralios, the Belovaking clan's annual heroquest is more elaborate, with many people taking different roles in the quest, and actually turning into different people - (guards at the gate if the FireKing, etc.)

Perhaps a very large group of people would transport themselves to the heroplane itself.
