Certainly. Embryonic broo, for one. I know of more than one Malia shaman who kept intestinal worms as a familiar. Plus some PCs in a game I know of encountered a gigantic freeliving tapeworm in a chaos place. It attacked, flailing its spiked head and spraying tiny eggs everywhere. (Okay, I admit it -- I was the GM.)
