In which case this is *not* what Oliver was asking about as the Dara Happans, Pelandans and Naverians all acknowlege people growing old and dying (DH - End of Kestinoros's reign, Pelandans - growing Koverian, Naverians - Red Kings immortality rituals) in the Good Old Days.

This is like wondering what time was like in the days of homo habilis or when the dinosaurs ruled the earth.

There is some massive change between the Green and Golden Age in Peloria. The First Winter struck when urbanisation in Peloria was getting off the ground (one of Brightface's boasts was that he *returned* the Sky to stability) and the massive barbarian migrations (Erlandings, Ram People, Andam Horde). Whether there was any winter during the Golden Age of Peloria is a good question, and I think that there was.
