Peter Maranci:

[Me apologize for roolz debate, but other list not up yet]

>If the closest thing to a Rune Master under

There are plenty of Runelord/Acolytes in the published supplements. In addition, the Runelord is only prevented from becoming a Priest. The priesthood requirements themselves prohibit sorcerers or shamans but not Rune Lords. Therefore a Rune Lord can become an acolyte. Furthermore in the section on multiple cult memberships (on p22 of the Cults Book) that a Rune Lord 'may join other cults as an acolyte or initiate'. Now if he can join secondary cults as an acolyte then he can join his own cult as an acolyte (if such a station exists).

>create a Temple of the Reaching Moon in Sartar is described. I began
>wondering exactly what it was that Argrath had done. Here is what I came

ObGratitousNitpick: It is not certain that Argrath actually participated in the ritual. The only people who are named are Olaront Dragonfriend and Minaryth Purple. Since both are listed as Kallyr's companions and only one (Olaront) as Argrath's, I think it is probable that Kallyr actually led the counter-ritual and that Argrath was not present. As additional evidence, I note that Kallyr became Queen of Sartar afterwards and that she was also known as Starbrow because of a gem given to her by her lover, a star god. Now where do you think the Sartarites figured out how to manipulate the heavens?

>Now, the part that is somewhat radical is that I think Argrath made a
>permanent change in the heavens. After this event, Orlanth's Ring was no
>longer gone for a week after entering the Pole Star Gate. Orlanth had
>been freed, and now he rose each week, disappeared, then rose again
>almost immediately.

I doubt that the Orlanthi HeroQuesters have the strength to create that level of disturbance alone. This is equivalent to the Sun Stop in magnitude. If there were similar rituals that occured elsewhere (Kralorela, West, Umathela) then this might be plausible. Furthermore, I think this would have a major effect on Orlanthi and other storm magics

>I have a lot more of this, if people are interested, including

What planet is this?

Philip Hibbs:

>I always thought of Arkat's rebirth as a Troll as being the first
>instance of this transformation. Am I wrong?

The Troll Gods paper booklet says that Arkat's birth was notable for he was the first to be born with companions.
