I really don't know. I think the God might be Urox who is known to be in the area rather than Worlath.

But the Ring of Orlanth is still visible as of 1621. *But* there is a entry in KoS which describes a hero (whose name escapes me) who fails the Lightbringer Quest after castle blue and causes stars to fall on his people. So if Orlanth's ring had disappeared after the Castle Blue, then he caused it to reappear with catastrophic side-effects.
The second time during the third age was a deliberate act by the Lunars which involved the conquest of the Southern Orlanthi (which ended with the fall of Whitewall) as well as a magical ritual at Castle Blue. The Lunars were hoping for a permanent banishing this time.
